Aloo Sabzi Recipe is an all-time favorite basic sabzi recipe made with diced potatoes and is a simple recipe made with basic ingredients available at home.
INGREDIENTS:
Potato - 3
Tomato - 2
Red chili powder - 1 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 & 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
Green chili - 2
Salt to taste
Coriander leaves
For Seasoning:
Oil - 2 tbsp
Mustard - 1 tsp
Methi seeds - 1/4 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves
METHOD:
1. Peel and chop the potatoes into cubes.
2. In a pressure cooker, heat oil and add mustard seeds, methi seeds, cumin seeds, green chili and curry leaves.
3. Add potatoes, salt, and turmeric. Fry well in low flame.
4. Add tomato puree to the potatoes.
5. Add red chili powder, coriander powder and fry until oil separates.
6. Add required water, garam masala powder, mix and pressure cook for 2 whistles.
7. Once pressure is released, add coriander leaves and adjust water consistency if its too thick and bring to boil if adding water.
8. Serve this with masala poori, aloo poori or Bedmi poori.
